Tea/Bar/Hand Towels feature my original watercolor patterns. They are made of cotton-linen canvas. They look great in powder rooms, bread baskets, kitchens, bars, etc. They are made in the USA and designed/sewn in Michigan. Each has a hanging tab on the back. They are washable (regular wash and dryer), made of toxin-free inks, and measure about 16 × 24 inches.
The story behind them: Tales of Belle Isle 1: It was just a glance. We were at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum in Detroit and I looked into a showcase and saw a collection of beautiful vintage fishing bobbers. Once in my head, I knew I would have to express that beauty somehow, and weeks later created a painting, and then years after a textile pattern that we turned into bar and kitchen towels as well as scarves. Even table runners could not escape those pretty colorful bobbers, and before I knew it, they were on those as well.
I was hooked!
The tea/bar towels make greatgifts; I love to wrap special cooking oils or a bottle of wine with them!
