Tulips & Pussywillows and Hyacinth

A fresh symphony of spring, it almost looks like an April shower has occurred! Using lots of water creates an ultra-transparent effect, which I love. This painting sells for $120 and is 15 x 22”. Spring at the Market

Another trip to the market in February has me thinking spring! A mix of a few daffs with lots of colorful tulips and a couple of hyacinths, too!

Tulips & Daffs & Hyacinth

Another trip to the market and the stands were popping with all kinds of spring plants. I love the tiny daffs in these pots. So elegant as they merge with the other spring bulb plants! Painterly pots add to the vignette! This painting sells for $60 and is 9” x 12”. If you’re interested in purchasing this painting, click here or contact me at the Contact Me page on this site.

Pink Tulips

Luscious pink tulips and their fascinating, curvy leaves caught my eye for this study. I love the subtle background with just a bit of a wash in the lower part. The bright flowers stand alone and pop against the white paper. This painting sells for $64 and is 9” x 12”. Wildflowers near the Forest

Whatever was growing and blooming near me at the time makes up the ingredients (subject) for this painting. Put them in an old jar and add a unique and moody background and you get quite a recipe! This painting sells for $90 and is 12” x 22”. If you’re interested in purchasing this painting, click here or contact me at the Contact Me page on this site.

Yellow Tulips, Daffs, Hyacinths & Pussywillows

Oh do I love painting yellow and purple together in a painting.Plunk those flowers in a reflective vase and had a simple, fresh-as-a-spring-rain vase, and you get a soft painting. This painting sells for $60 and is 7” x 10”. If you’re interested in purchasing this painting, click here or contact me at the Contact Me page on this site.

Bouquet a la Grocery Store

I was inspired to paint this bouquet after a trip to the grocery store in northern Michigan. I’m amazed at what small-town stores provide, including colorful arrangements that stop one in his or her tracks! This painting measures 10” x 11". It sells for $85. Flowers at the Window

I saw a pot of beautiful flowers at a local shopping destination and imagined it in a vintage farmhouse with an old white-trim window. And voila! This painting measures 6” x 11”. It sells for $60. Daffodils & Limes

I love anything LIME! And pairing limes with a bunch of daffodils just creates a beautiful citrus-y punch! This painting measures 9” x 12”. I love that the pencil work becomes part of the art.
